i usually do crunches with my legs raised up...

then i do crunches for my obliques (sides) with my foot on my knee and i connect my elbow to my knee

then i like do lower abs... leg raises, leg tucks, all that good stuff

but i usually endu p doing one big set which lasts 10-20 minutes i would say with about 10 second breaks in between transitions from crunches, obliques, lower, etc.

but my question is how many sets should i rly be doing... because after i do my megaset my abs are too weak to lift much

should i like do another mega set later on in the day or something =~=

  1. Abs are an unique muscle in that you can work them out more often and for much longer periods at a time. I never count while doing ab reps and just go until it burns. Pretty much works for all weight lifting. Do as many reps as you can making sure that the last couple burn immensely.

  2. I like to work my upper abs, then lower, then obliques.

3 sets of 30 reps for each part.

Total 270 reps for abs. 4 times a week.

  3. It sounds like all of the exercises you are already doing is great.

just try to always be doing new ab exercises. the trick is to confuse your body. so what you should do is continue what you are doing except do 25 reps of each exercise. depending on your fit level you should do 2-4 sets of each exercise. remember do each rep slowly

and as stable as possible. I hope that sheds some light
