They were hired me as temp to hire. All the support staffs started out the same way but they are all leaving (at once). The pple whom are leaving said, one of the biggest reasons why they are leaving was becuz of the woman partner. One of them told me that she belittles pple when she talks to them, the lawyer yelled at her. When all the support members came to me with questions and concerns, i told them that even though i'm the office manager, i can't authorize anything and that they had to go to the woman lawyer. the recpetionist begged me to go because she was to afraid to confront the lawyer. The woman lawyer, spoke to me in an unprofessional, hostile manner , embarrassed me in front of another worker by the way she spoke to me. This all happened on day two of my employment. The woman lawyer wants to run her company with an iron fist, like, she wants to make certain that pple don't forget that she is the boss, she control pple by her harsh tones, she even put notes all over the paper shredder telling pple not to shred anyting till it is approved by her. OMG. I accidently asked the receptionist to put stamps on the envelops, the woman lawyer saw that she came to me, demanding ot know why, i appologized, she walked away and i heard her say, PSST!. Wednesday was my last day and she was nasty towards me all the way till the end. I had no proper training, they give the office manager title but don't have any rights. what the h**l

  1. This does not sound like a question. I am sorry for your experience.

  2. Get out and count your blessings.  This nightmare will

cause the company to fail unless they fire her. With

people walking out constantly the company's bottom

line will fail and the company will start losing money.

Find a better place to work and be grateful you aren't going

    down with the ship.

  3. Since you're no longer working there,  I would write a letter to the other partner and explain what is going on there, not just about how it affected your assignment there but that she exudes a very unprofessional attitude towards the entire office staff and soon or later, she's going to create a problem with potential clients as well.Word of mouth does travel eventually. Be sure to let your temp service know as well, they have every right to be informed of her behavior and the hostile environment they are sending their agents to work in.

Beyond doing that, there's not much else you can do , but move on and be glad you didn't waste anymore of your time.
