  1. sue them...


  2. no one for any reason can withhold your paycheck. The first thing I would do is, write a letter asking for your pay. Send it registered so you can have proof that you tried to retreave it. If this doesn't work, seek a attorney, and go to small claims court. If you win the case, they have to pay all attorney fees. Don't take this sitting down!!

  3. They can not lawfully withhold your pay.  Report them to the Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division.

  4. go to the labor board. Why did you keep going back for a month without getting paid? If you were working under the table you may not have much in the way of recourse as you are both in the wrong.

  5. Call the workforce commission. They have a record of everywhere you have worked, tell them your story, they will get you your money...Unless, you worked off the "record" and they were going to pay you cash.

  6. quit!
