  1. have to check your contract or ask the agency in question:

You have a legal entitlement to 20 days off a year, based on working full time hours.

Some agencies include this statutory holiday pay in with the wages you get from week to week, based on number of hours worked (it'll be 8.33% of hourly rate). Some companies seperate holiday pay from regular pay on the payslip, some don't.

It's a less administratively time consuming way than accruing it and having to apply for it. However, some places still work like this.

  2. A BIG ZERO i'm affraid

  3. You won't find one answer fitting to your question. I depends on the country you have worked, and whether legal right or working contract applies, whichever is better for you.

I can just give you an example on German working law.

The number of annual leave days is determined per year, either by law, or by working contract. For every full month worked you are entitled to 1/12 of the annual leave days.

So if you worked from 1st January 2007 to 31st March 2007 (13 weeks), that would have been 3 full monthes, entitling you 3/12 of the annual leave days; if you would have worked from 12th February 2007 to 12th May 2007 (13 weeks), you would have worked two full monthes (March and April), which amounts to 2/12 of the annual leave entitlement.

  4. i would say 3 days
