I worked for the Salvation Army in Ohio and was let go from my job. Can I draw unemployment?

  1. Look at your paycheck stub.  If they took out for unemployment, you are eligible.   If they didn't you were in an exempt job and you are not eligible.

    Also, if you were fired, they have the right to say you are not eligible.  If you were let-go because they didn't have enough work, you can apply.

    Go to your unemployment people and talk to them.  There may be something you can get, no matter what the circumstances are.
