I'm so pissed of with working all the hours god sends for a £1000 a month when all my living costs come to £900. The UK economy and government is a ******* joke

You are not middle class, you are working class on £12000 a year, not as much as a middle class person would get. Lots of people are having a hard time recently, it is not just you.  To blame Gordo and his mob is missing the point, it is the same all over the world. This is due to the rise in the price of oil and food everywhere.

It is always easy to blame the Government with things are tough, but the world's economy is taking a hit at the moment and the UK is not immune. I don't believe things would be any different whichever colour Government we had - it could even be worse!

If it were not for this Government, we would not have a minimum wage and it is likely you would be earning even less. There are plenty who do not earn what you do. At least you have £25 a week to spare!

It is interesting that you seem to describe yourself as middle class, but on earning £12,000 a year would suggest this is only working class. There is nothing wrong with either. One of the great things about this country is that we have this choice. Others are not so lucky.

It's a hard slog I know, but have you considered taking a second job to help make ends meet?

Don't be put off by my suggestion and consider taking on an early morning or evening cleaning job.

You won't make big money cleaning, but you can easily expect to earn the standard minimum wage, which is about £5.50 ph right now.

I'm a pensioner, I have two pensions and could probably easily live on the money they bring in, but, I've got a cleaning job which brings in another £150 to £200 a month - I'm off to Sorrento on the 29th Aug, all paid for out of my part time cleaning job.

U.S. isn't any better right now. Since Bush became president, things have gotten worse and worse. I must now use my credit cards to pay some of my bills and I tend to be very conservative in my spending.

people expect the government to do everything for them.  Maybe if you had done a bit better for yourself you would have been able to get a better job with better money and better prospects.  People like you want everything handed to them.

if you think things are bad now, I brought up 2 sons in the late 80`s early 90`s when the Tories were in.  I never got anything like what they get now.  I had to work and work hard to pay the morgage etc.  I am now in a position where I earn really good money and my morgage is nearly paid.  

Labour have done a lot more for us than any other previous government. Just look at all the big fancy 4 bedroom houses that have been built.  All the BMW`s Mercs on the road, thats because life for most of us is better under Labour.

Stop moaning about it and go and get yourself an education and maybe you will get a better job, have more money and a better life.
