I would kick Fletcher out first, says Farokh Engineer - Cricket News Update
The former Indian wicketkeeper, Farokh Engineer, on Monday criticised the head coach of the Indian cricket team, Duncan Fletcher, calling the Zimbabwean the most useless person in the current set up.
During an interview with Mid Day, the 73-year-old former Maharashtra wicketkeeper batsman lambasted the Indian coach saying that he cannot communicate properly with the players, so expecting him to get the best out of the players is useless.
“http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Duncan-Andrew-Gwynne-Fletcher-c54742 is the most useless guy. I would kick him out first,” said Engineer when asked about Fletcher.
“I was never in favour of him coming in as coach. I knew he was never going to make a difference. The guy has no personality, he doesn't communicate properly. When you don't do that well, how are you going to get the best out of the players?” the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Maharashtra-c811
cricketer added further.
Fletcher took over from http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Gary-Kirsten-c58527 after the South African stepped down from the position in April last year citing family commitments. Under Kirsten, the Indian cricket touched the zenith of the cricketing world; they established themselves as the No.1
Test team in the world and clinched the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/ICC-World-Cup-2011-c100625 Cricket World Cup 2011.
Fletcher was appointed post World Cup, and it was expected that he would help India establish their domination over world cricket, as the best Test and ODI side.
Those hopes were soon dashed. Initially, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 won in the Caribbean, but since that tour they have yet to register a Test win overseas. As it stands, they have lost 8 Test matches on the trot overseas, an unprecedented record in Indian cricketing history.
The former wicketkeeper added that the Indian team did not learn the lessons from the humiliation in England last summer, and this is the reason that the Men in Blue have faltered yet again in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746. They lost the Test series 4-0 to the Australian.

decide his fate.
