  1. its spelled JordAn, anyways I think it has its own potential just like any other country

  2. Just another Muslim country with weird laws and strange beliefs.  I hear it's great if you want to stay in the hotel most of the time.

  3. You mean Jordan? It is really hot now, you can go there in winter! it is much more better!

  4. Jordan holds so beautifull nature and most generous kind people,if you mean that,of course i like jordan!

  5. Huge deposits of rock petroleum have been found in the country; it won't be long before the Hasehmite monarchy becomes a rival to the Al-Saud and gulf states.  The king of the country got the idea of turning Jordan into a technology hub from watching too much star trek; many Jordanians criticize him for having a "silly fantasy" of turning Jordan into Rodenberry's vision of a utopia.

    My take?

Never met him, so, not gonna say anything, just regurgitating what some Jordanian friends told me.  From the Jordanians I've met, they either like him or hate him, but generally there seems to be no middle ground.  Here is, also, a bit of an irony; the "Palestinians" of Jordan generally like the king, better than native Jordanians.

Its kinda strange really, considering that civil war they had in which his father Hussein blew up a few of them.

I think they're nice people personally, for the most part, generally much nicer than Saudis.  I cants stands the Saudis.

  6. Thats an odd question.

How can you like a country or not?

It's the people that matter who are in the country.

I am prepared to say that even though the vast majority of Jordanians hold very unfavorable views of Jews, Israel is closer to Jordan in relations than it is to Egypt.

Are you trying to solidify your views on Israel by asking this question and observing the responses?

  7. I don't. It would have been different had the Jordanians supported the noble Palestinians.

  8. I've never been there but it would be nice if this conflict would be over and Jordanians and Israelis could exchange tourists, I hear it's really nice there, the problem is I don't think they like us very much.

  9. Nice place been there a few times, lots too see!

Great historical landscapes, not far from the beach close to Egypt.  Worthwhile visiting, I heard it's getting to be quite expensive now, thanks to the war and all the influx of rich Iraqi's fleeing into Jordan.

  10. I like Jordan I am actually more favorable to them and also I like Lebanon.
