I would like a bunny!

Hi! So... My hamster recently died, and I decided my new pet should be a bunny. I really like rabbits. THEY ARE SO CUTE! SO. My parents said that if I could find room in the house, I could MOST LIKELY get one. Well... let's just say we have A LOT of pets, and my room is already maxed out. So, I was wondering, do you think that could put the bunny in the chinchilla room. There is a lot of dust, however, I could put up a sheet, and that would keep some of it out. Do you think this would work? (Chinchillas use volcanic dust to keep themselves clean.)

THANKS SO MUCH!!!

  1. No the dust will cause your rabbit breathing problems which will be serious and could even kill the rabbit.

  2. it sounds like you have many pets, the rabbit might be affected by the other ones.also it needs more space than you might think?

  3. Not it wouldn't work, they require very large cages and the dust will casue respiratory problem for your bunny even with a sheet. Bunnies  are often mistken for cute and cuddley pets that can be kept in cages like a hamster. They are not rodents and they don't like to be held and they require as much work as a cat or dog adn they must be fixed. Not to mention they can deliver a mean scratch with those powerful back legs.

Why do you want another pet if you already have alot? Bunnies are misunderstood  creatures and require someone wtih lots of patience adn time on thier hands. You have to let them out fo thier cages for at least 2 hours a day and you have to litterbox train them or they will go all over the floor. Litter box training requires that you be home all day for at least a week or two constantly watching over them
