Any bakery that makes custom cakes would do one to your specifications.

To make a carpet cake you should realize that it can only be the thickness of a n unrolled jelly roll ,if you have a thicker cake it will no longer look realistic, I have looked around but so far have found nothing , so my advise to you is to go to your local bakery and have a drawing of the cake that is shaped like a rectangle or whatever shape a carpet can be add some fringe to it and they will make one for you . This is not a difficult cake to make ,it's plain and doesn't take much time to decorate unless you want some oriental designs on it then the price will go up ,but you said a red carpet so that is simple , if you have a relative,friend or yourself you can make this in no time at all.
