I would like some advice on my Land-based casual Magic: the Gathering Deck.?

I'm trying to get it to a playable level. It has won against other decks, but not enough for me to be happy with it. I know it can be a lot better. Here's the deck:

// Lands

4 Urza's Power Plant

10 Forest

3 The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale

4 Urza's Tower

4 Cloudpost

4 Urza's Mine

4 Vesuva

4 Strip Mine

4 Stalking Stones

4 Maze of Ith

4 Dark Depths

// Spells

3 Reap and Sow

4 Crop Rotation

4 Crucible of Worlds

The main thing I need help with is the spells, although I will take any advice I can get. The Crucible is staying no matter what, but other than that, my spells aren't very good at all. I'm looking for more/better land-grab than I have, and it has to be able to find any kind of land. I also need to take out some Forests, I had Blue in the deck for awhile, so I just replaced it all with Forests. And please mention any cards that let me play more land per turn.

Thank you.

  1. Seeing as how you already have the Tabernacles and Maze of Ith's, I would recommend you go to www.mtgthesource.com/forums and look up a deck called 42 land. It's exactly what you're looking for.
