  1. I don't really know of any links to give you but making candles is easy and fun there are several different ways to go dipping, pouring, bees wax, soy wax, not even to mention  scents and colors, but start simple, you can get wax chips or the little beads, put a pot of water on the stove, now use the special wax melting bags, put your wax in the bag and let it melt, depending on how much you need it will take a min., set up what you want to put it in ( I like to use old candle holders or a fancy glass) use a pencil to tie your wick to and place it across the container you are using when your wax is ready carefully remove the bag and let it the water drip off and pat it with a paper towel so you don't get water in our candle, let it set till it's hard, normally the wax will sink as it sets, so you will need to top it off the next day. hope this helps some and have fun with your now candles =:)

  2. Try www.candletech.com or candleandsoap.about.com

  3. Here are the sites listed in my original post:

http://www.candlesandsupplies.com (good for info, videos, etc)

    http://groups.yahoo.com/group/candlemaki... (great on-line group)

    http://candleandsoap.about.com/ (good instructions)

    http://www.candlecauldron.com/ (a very informative site)

Here are a few more that you might find helpful:

    http://www.chandlersclub.com/ (projects and more)

    http://www.gatehousecandles.com/ (checkout the picture page)

    http://groups.yahoo.com/group/candleques... (I'll answer questions :-)

    For the engraving:

The best way is use Acrylic Craft Stain, available from any big craft store. It is better than paint because it is designed to be wiped on and wiped off, only remaining in the areas you carved.

    Hope this helps!

  4. It's easy.  Just check out suppliers.  I use Bitter Creek Candle Supply (google it) and there are great instructions there.  Do start out small, but don't buy the kits.  TESTING is the key.  Also check out thescentreview.com forum.  Lots of people can help you there.
