I don't have very good credit at all, but I am 19 and never had a loan for a car before. I friend of mine purchased a brand new Ford Focus for about $13,000.00 with about $500.00 down and she pays around $300 a month. Just wondering if anyone has tried to get financed with the First Time Buyer's program with bad credit... although it's very little. My friend had non-exsistent credit as well. Only want to hear from people who actually know about this and know what they're talking about!

  1. Auto finance is what I do for a living and Echo is correct. I used to work for a Ford dealer and they do look for at least 1 year on the job, $1,800.00 a month in income and no major derogatory credit.

In reality to Ford no credit is better then bad credit for the first time buyer program.

They also factor in things like are you a student, college grad etc.

The best thing to do is go to your local Ford dealer and apply,

  2. From what I've read about the Ford first time buyers program, they like to see at least one year on the job, a minimum monthly income of $1800 and no major negatives.
