Personally, I'm beginning to feel a little nostalgic for the Revolutionary War. That war had to do with taxation without representation, being ignored by our leaders and generally being led to the poorhouse in droves to make a few richer than they already were. Therefore, our great forefathers enacted the Second Amendment which gives we, the people, the right to bear arms, to form a militia, to protect our new country from these evil marauders, ESPECIALLY those in charge of our government. I AM NOT SAYING that we should all march out and start shooting at all. But I am saying that even my own grandfathers would be glad to be dead rather to have lived long enough to see this day. They served in the Armed Forces in order to protect us from the enemy and to keep our liberties intact. Where have our liberties gone? I pretty much expect John Q. Law to come banging on my door any second now on the grounds that I'm trying to incite a riot, when in fact, I am exercising my Freedom of Speech. I'm not sure if Yahoo is an American company these days or not. Remember this come Election Day! And begin contacting your perspective Senators and Representatives in Washington, DC on a REAL regular basis. Let them know that they are replaceable, just like the rest of us.

If taxes are raised for fuel, what do you think that will do for the price of fuel?  It will make it go up (to pay for the taxes).  What do you think the federal gov't can do about the price of oil in Saudi Arabia, Iran, Venzuela, or other oil rich countries?
