He is a good looking young man who has had it rough and this is represented by his behavior but i have fallen in love with this kid and I really want to help him I am pretty young myself 23 to be exact but I am married and have no birth children nor adoptive and I really want to adopt him but my husband says its to soon and if we have a child of our own he wouldnt be him but an emotionaly settled infant or a birth child but I think Jessy (its his name) could really use my help

first of all yes it will be a long road ahead. a lot to deal with and as a family you should seek counseling with him. i think you and your husband should talk it over some more and really get your point across. if this is something you have thought about and want to do then go ahead. more power to you. you are doing a greater deed than you know. It's very rare and awful sad that so many kids are forced to grow up in orphanages until they are 18.

And to all of the other ones rudely bashing, the thought of her hurting a child is insane. You people should show more respect. She wants to help this kid, not date him! You people need to get your heads checked out. And I sincerely hope you do not have any children. That is rude and just wrong to assume that about someone. How many of you would adopt? And an older child at that? How many of you are willing to open up your home to a child in need?
