I would like to adopt my 2 year old nephew from vietnam?

since it is hard for me to have kids, I would like to adopt my nephew so he has a chance to grow up in the states, vietnam is poor country, where do I start? how much does all this cost? how long will this take?

One word of advice, unless your nephew's parents or guardians agree to the adoption, the Viet government will not approve it.

i would think it would take a fairly long time.if your nephew lives with relatives in vietnam.it would be more difficult.my best advice is to contact the department of immigration where you live now.they will give you the best advice good luck
