I would like to become a Clinical Psychologist I live in Atlanta. Are there any reputable schools here?

I'm very interested in going to school for Psychology, however I would like to eventually become a clinical Psychologist. I'm 27 almost 28 and am a little worried that I 'm to old. I have a 2 year old and I'm divorced. My only concern I'm very family oriented and taking on line courses is an option but I'm a little worried about how successful that you can really be taking this course on line. Any helpful tips for a single african -american women wanting to better herself and family would help. Just nervous about the amount of time that it will take and if being on campus would be a better way to pursue my education. Please any help I would really appreciate! Thank You

there is no such thing as too old. if you start with that thinking then you are gone before you even started. there are people here in australia called mature age students who graduate at 98yrs old (can you imagine that)

anyway as for the uni, just checkout the ones in your local area and see what they offer.

i don't think there are any online courses (but i'm australian)

in australia, psyc degree is 4 yrs and 2 yrs masters to be registered as a psyc. or 2yr supervised training after the 4yr degree.

so a total of 6yrs at least. that was for full time study as well, so if you want to do it part time then double that amount
