  1. I don't know about being a "professional hunter", but you might look into being a guide. A lot of large ranches down here in Texas offer canned hunts for clients, and the ranches  use guides to help the hunters spot the deer (or other game). I had a friend in High School that made a living guiding duck and geese hunters.

Since you added the note about bow hunting, you might look into a local sporting goods store or outdoors store with an archery range, and get a job as a trainer. It's not the same as hunting, but it will keep you practicing your hobby, and you might make a deal with a customer about being his guide on a hunting trip.

  2. buy a gun, train and practice with targets, then choose a hunting spot im not a hunter by the way

  3. im not trying 2 b rude  but....

u shouldn't b a pro hunter. its really mean 2 the animals! how would u feel if somthin bigger and stronger came up 2 u and an unfamiliar divice came and hit u really fast and then ended up killing u? animals live lives 2 and their lives are probably even alot tuffer then ours! They have 2 find their own food instead of go to the store 2 get food and they have 2 find their oun homes and everything. and they have 2 escape from human and animal hunters.

  4. i think you might

  5. im 10 and hunt and i do alot of hunting i shoot a 12 gauge and have my hunters permit and huntg well iy look like u know how to hunt but i wouldnt know how to go pro

  6. try talking to other PH's in your area and find out where they got their start. I'd imagine you have to really know the land you're guiding on, the best way to know it is to be out there in it all the time, you have to know everything about that piece of land.

Never mind the idiots telling you not to hunt, they fail to realize that it helps the order of the species by controlling their population. Hunters give more financially than all the idiots at PETA or any other society to the preservation of wildlife in the fees and licenses that we pay. Keep hunting.

  7. What do you think a "professional hunter" does?

I can't think of many opportunities to get paid for hunting.  The only thing I can think of is culling introduced species and other nuisance animals for the government, like in Australia or  somewhere.  Or shooting gophers for ranchers, but most of the time people do that for free.  If you have lots of hunting experience you could be a guide or outfitter.  I imagine that the requirements for that vary by region.

  8. have you even ever shot a gun what type a animal are hunting are you going to be bow hunting or regular gun hunting
