I would like to brush up on my grammar, any suggestions ?

RP, Surely there are some rules and regulations to stick to. Why a comma and not a period, Why is I before E, exept after C and when is it OK to break the rule. What is a preposition. All that sortof stuff I need to know

  1. Read articles by well-established authors, as found in various newspapers. I taught grammar at one time, and good usage comes from seeing good examples ...  and lots of practice.

  3. Elements of Style by Strunk & White is a classic... it is short, understandable and too the point.

  4. There is a book by Barron called Painless Grammar that is pretty good if you just want the basics, if you are really into language, I would also suggest latin.

  5. Take a Latin class.  More grammar than you'll ever use ;-)

  6. I use this website to supplement the curriculum we use. Sometimes we print extra work off of it. Good Luck!
