I would like to burn my trash outside.?

Because it's been so cold lately. I want to world to start warmng up. I heard if you burn trash it causes global warming. Is it illegal to burn your trash?

NY State is currently working to ban the burning of household trash in open outside fires in towns with less than 20,000 population.  Open burning of trash is already banned in larger towns and cities.

Open burning is at a lower temperature than at a licensed incinerator and adds serious pollutants to the atmosphere because of poor combustion.  Global warming is not as serious an issue as adding noxious chemicals to the environment.  Remember that alcohol is produced by fermentation of sugars by life forms that are ultimately killed by the end product.  If we don't learn from the history (or bacteria) we many be forced to repeat it.  Of course, burning trash in fireplaces (inside) likely will lead to the banning of fireplaces.  Perhaps you know someone with asthma, etc. who will appreciate it if you disposed of trash properly.

Let's hope you are not in California because if you burn your

trash in California you will be accused of starting a wildfire.

Yes it's suppose to be but you would get away with it it's one of those laws that no one cares about, like under age drinking.

Yeah it illegal but unless you create a ruckas no one really cares. just take caution do not burn any plastics cuz they can release toxic gasses.
