I would like to buy and move 2 piglets from a farm in France?

I will need to travel through one department with the piglets to do this. what documents do the piglets need to travel through departments in France according to the law.

Believe me, I am not picking on you at all, but I could not fathom why a person would go through the extra needless expense of purchasing piglets in another country (the extra costs and paperwork) rather than buy piglets from one's own country.

Even if the piglets were a special breed - there should be a breeder who sells them in your country and would be less expensive to move them to your home.

i'm not really sure about the laws in france but if you contact the departments you will be going through they will be able to tell you. most likely they will need some kind of exam from a vet and a document validating that exam. there may also be a quarantine period involved, but i'm not sure. call the departments they'll know.
