If what you meant to say is: "I want to buy an iPhone and bring to Vietnam."

iPhones are supposed to work only in the U.S. and only with AT&T service at this time. However, iPhones with programming before the recent software update can be "cracked" and  enabled to work on most GSM cell phone systems. The cracked iPhones are little more than glorified cell phones and does not have the full capability of what an iPhone was designed to be.

If you're in Vietnam, it is best to buy an iPhone in Vietnam that is already configured to work with cell phone service there instead of obtaining a new one from the U.S. and cracking it yourself. Such iPhones are easy to find as just about every cell phone store that I had seen in Vietnam has at least one iPhone on display.

You will pay a premium for what is actually a glorified cell phone and no longer an iPhone after it has been cracked. An 8GB iPhone can cost $600 US or more. My advice to you is not to get an iPhone unless you have a lot of money to burn.
