I would like to change the way sound comes out of my speakers with out hardware... ?

Ok so i just got a idea... how would i make it so that when i play a song on youtube that it sounds different without downloading and audio editing... like a software that alters the sound that goes into your sound card and out your speakers.

You might find some freeware or shareware solutions at version tracker (address below.)  It has options for all major operating systems and it lists them in categories, so it should be pretty easy for you to find something there.  As I don't know which operating system you are using, I can't be more specific.  The only other thing I would recommend is checking the website for your speaker/soundcard and see if they have any downloads of utilities that might do the job too.
