I would like to convert my furnace from an old oil burner to a new propane burning furnace?

i need some expert advice..........does propane truly out-weigh an oil burning furnace.......not only cost but safety, cleanness and efficency ???

Where  we  are  located  the  price  of  propane  is  so  high  we're  thinking  about  converting  to electric  heat

you dont convert the old furnace its not cost efficient,,you buy a new furnace.

Yep... I think so. But like the person below... I do suggest you buy a new one. Converting it won't get you an energy star rated appliance.
