  1. I have seen this done, and it is really nice.

Call a large crafts store, and ask them.  They will probably even have a class on how to do it for free, if you buy the supplies from their store.

  2. A friend made a shadowbox of her daughter's invitation, using ribbon and lace from the favors, flowers from the bouquets, a cork from the champagne toast, etc. - it looks beautiful and her daughter was so pleased she cried.

You can also photo-transfer the invitation onto fabric for a pillow or a quilt block. Or you can modge-podge it onto a tray, along with ribbons, lace, and other memorabilia (honeymoon tickets?), to use for serving the cake-top on their first anniversary, or a champagne toast, or whatever other celebration appeals.

    Great project - good luck.

Here you go..nice idea and I hope this helps.

  4. I have often have wedding invitations professionally matted and framed as wedding gifts. I'm sure you could do that on your own!

  5. With one of my friends wedding invitation i took a picture frame and framed it and used little wedding stickers from walmart or even a dollar store and made it all crafty looking... Everyone that sees it loves it.
