How would any other complaints have an effect on your case?  Every case is heard on its own merit, and other complaints or lack of them won't have any effect.

Also you may not need to file.  Start by asking for whatever it is you think you deserve from the towing company.  If they turn down your claim, most states have a formal resolution procedure you can use.  If those two avenues aren't enough to resolve any problems, then you can consider small claims.

It always amazes me when people go directly to court without even trying to resolve the problem with the company first.

Best bet, web search on EVERY combination you can find. Also check the directors of the company and check them for past history...
