I would like to find a web site that lists (unpaid police) Confidential Informants names and CI numbers?

need to find a website that has snitches ( informents) listed or a database with their names and informent numbers are listed. But I only need this information for the state of michigan and if it breaks down into counties, I need it for St. Joseph County. I know their is a web site out there but I just can't find it.

The cops do have a list of rats and I have seen a list from Tuolumne California. Not sure how the list got out .Stan. Co. you don't need the list all you had to do was know a Sheriff captain and from what I read in the paper he was feeding that kind of info and more. Go to http://www.badcopnews.com and you will see a lot of dirty cops out there.

I don't know where you heard this 'website' exists, but with my 30 years experience, I can assure you that that's not the truth.

In fact, as an investigator, I don't even know the identity of CI's of my co-workers.

And that's as it should be.

Revealing this information would put the CI's in immediate risk of death or injury.

One might ask why YOU would be interested, and asking in a public forum like Yahoo! Answers.  I highly doubt that such a website exists.  I cannot believe you would ask this question.

Why would they post such a list for the public to read on the internet?

Why do you want the list?

Do you plan to harm all the CI's?

Be real.

Noone would be a CI if they thought they'd be outed by the police, and posting their name and CI # on the internet would be outing them.
