  1. I did the same thing. I grew up without knowing my biological father and finally looked him up after I turned 18. I am glad that I did it because I wanted so badly to know what we was like and if I was at all like him.

All I had to go off of was his name and the idea that he was probably somewhere on the east coast. One day I went to yellowpages.com, typed in the name and started calling every person. I found him after two calls (I know I lucked out).

It's always good to know where you come from, genetics play a bigger part in who you are than most would think.

Good luck and I hope you find him!

  2. youare disgusting it was absolutely nonsense

  3. Right now the people who matter are those who raised you.  Why do you need to find this guy?  All he is to you is a sperm donor.  If you set out on a quest you're likely to alienate your mom, or at the very least hurt her feelings.  When you're 18 you are free to find him if you want to but chances are if he hasn't been involved thus far there s probably a reason.  He has a life, maybe a family.  Don't disrupt it or your own.

  4. If you have his name start with free search engines.  Google his name, try  Whitepages.com for the area(s) he may be.  Take whatever info you can get from others and quietly look online.

I do suggest you keep it to yourself for now, take into consideration your moms feelings until you get a bit older, maybe then she'll give you more info.  Not telling you not to look at all..

    Good luck
