I would like to find my grandfather...?

The thing is, i only know his name and my fathers name. I know nothing else about him. i would like to know where he lives and if he is even alive.. and maybe even get in touch with him.. i have lookd up things to help find him but alot want a state or zip code. and i dont want to pay.. if someone could help please do...

We would need more information in able to help, like their names, where they lived, birth dates, where they were born, if you have it.
