I would like to get bangs but my hair is very very curly and has slow growth. I usually wear it wet and down but I occasionally blow dry it to a straight hairstyle. I'm concerned that if i get bangs all across my forehead, when I wear it wet, it will be a problem...should I or should I not?

  1. unless you want to fight with curly bangs every morning, i would say STOP!!! DON'T DO IT!!!! curly hair has the tendency to get curlier as it gets shorter. just a little humidity and you look like a poodle. my hair's curly too. if you reeeaaallly want them, get longer, side swept bangs that hit your cheekbone.

  2. Start with light bangs that are worn to the side.

  3. I have naturally curly hair (waist length).  Just recently I decided to cut my bangs too.  My mother told me that since my hair is so curly and thick that I shouldn't use to much.  With a parting comb, try to go back about an 1/8 inch, cheeckbone length.  That way you can pull them to the side and tuck behinde the ear when you want.  You'll like it!
