The other posters have started you on the right track.  First you have to apply for a work permit, which you usually have to do while still in your own country.  You need to really scrutinize the Canadian immigration site to see the best way for you to proceed.  If you really want to move to Canada, get the process started, because even if your application is a straight forward one, and even if you have skills that Canada is looking for, the process still takes at least several months, and often longer.  Check out the site the others gave you.  Best of luck with your plans.
