I would like to hear everyones opinions on global warming & what they think is going on right now.?

Some people say that the earth is going through a normal process of heating and cooling, and I understand where you're coming from, but the hole in the ozone layer does it for me. I'm pretty sure that isn't "natural".

Global warming is the Earth's natural cycle. Quit believing all the carp the media shoves down your gullible throat. Even Al Gore doesn't believe himself. If he did he wouldn't have such high energy bills and use private jets.Either that, or he's a big fat fuggin' hypocrite.

The Earth has gone through heck before man was ever on it.

oh btw the volcanoes put out more gunk than mankind. The Hawaiian volcano has been erupting for over 15 yrs. Are you going to fine Mother Nature?

Well, we don't want global warming to melt the ice rinks, do we?

Just build 100 miles of solar panels on each side (east-west) of the Mojave desert, and you could power 49 states in the U.S. and most of Canada. (Sorry, Hawaii, you're on your own).  This would reduce coal emissions from traditional power plants and reduce nuclear waste and storage problems.

Wrong section. I don't really know. We should definitely cut back on our pollution and carbon dioxide output. The problem is that animals and plants create more harmful gases contributing to global warming then we do. I think we should work on cars, and the pollution they create. As far as global warming goes, I don't really think it is a huge problem, but we as humans could definitely try harder to take care of our world.

The Earth is coming out of a mini-ice age so of course the Earth is getting warmer. Al Gore wastes more energy in a date then most waste in a year. Try reading the book State of Fear if you want a better perspective of Global Warming. The book is fiction, but the Science(footnotes) are real. Although I do think it is bad because you know without ice we will have to play all the hockey in the Arenas(no frozen ponds for kids in the winter) and the game will be more expensive PLUS all the energy costs required with keeping the ice frozen.
