  1. im sure theres tonss of information and books on homeschooling

  2. First you need to take some spelling lessons.

  3. Options depend on where you live. Many online charter schools are popping up all over. Many of them are now using k12 products. k12 schoolsare good for many reasons. Each student is given a placement test and then given individualized curriculum based on his or her individual needs. With the help of online charter schools today, homeschooling can be much easier than it used to be. They provide you with everything you need, a computer, a printer, books, supplies, and teachers that you can both email and call for help and assistance. This is free and there are no charges. Online schools are definitely becoming a way of the future for the children in generations to come.

Going to an online school is no different than going to a traditional public school or a private school. They graduate with a real diploma the same as any school. My son graduated from an online charter school and now attends a private university (University Of Dayton) with scholarships. They will also help you with making sure that all state required tests are done yearly and proficiencies are completed for graduation.

If there are not any free ones local to you there are some that you can join that are for anyone worldwide as long as you have an internet connection and they are affordable.

  4. First...look at your question...see how you misspelled, "Home- school?" When trying to relate information, "TAKE YOUR TIME." That is the best advice anyone could give you...

    Now that you are relaxing....

Contact your local superintendent's office. Tell them of your intentions to home-school. Ask them what they require.

Then ask them if you will need a portfolio at the end of the year?

Next, ask them if they have websites that offer schooling materials...i.e., free worksheets, etc.

Also, ask them if you are allowed to borrow THEIR BOOKS. A lot of school districts will ask for a deposit in case you lose their books, but will part with them. (If this doesn't work, ask them for the names and ISBN numbers of the books. Go to www.half.com and find the book...then CALL the publisher and ask them for a free copy. Tell them you are a home-schooler and if they give you a free copy, you will share the publishers website information with other home-schoolers.) Many book companies will give you a free copy of  a text book.

Ask them if their district allows your child to attend extra-curricular activities such as Drama clubs etc., after school if they are home-schooled.

Last, depending on the grade...ask them if they offer a "Superintendent's diploma. Some districts do this as well.

    Good luck!

  5. For your first step

go to http://www.hslda.com and do a search for your state. You will need to know the laws and they have an easy to understand summary of the laws.

Next choose curriculum (fancy word for books and workbooks) or an online school like http://www.k12.com/homeschool.

    Best of Luck
