I would like to know, if P.D.D austism?

Im learning stuffin school about different development disorders and i would like to know if P.D.D is autism please.

  1. Autism is one form of Pervasive Developmental Disorders.  PDD-NOS has most, but not all, the features of autism.  


  2. P.D.D. is an Autism Spectrum Disorder.

  3. There is somebody on yahoo who goes by the name offender of the faith he has autism and a bunch of other things.

  4. PDD and PDDNOS are generlaly considered to be a lesser form of autism.

    It means the child has characteristics of autism, but does not meet teh full diagnostic criteria

    Aspergers is also a form of autism

  5. PDD-pervasive developmental disorder is the general classification for all disorders along the autistic spectrum including asperger's syndrome and autism.  PDD.NOS not otherwise specified is reserved for those that do not fit neatly into a diagnosis, they have features of a PDD
