I would like to know: Is magic real?

please keep wise cracks, i just want to know, so i can move on with my life, if it is real....i would like to study it.

Yes, many believe that magic(k) can be real.  There are many paths and you'll have to read about different paths and theories.  Don't just take somebody's word that one particular "path" is the "right path".  You'll have to go with what you feel seems right.

There are wiccans, traditional witches, eclectic witches (like me), chaos magicians, satanists (not exactly what it sounds), druids, voudons, Odinists, techno pagans, etc...

No one can tell you. You have to decide if you believe it's real or not. There's no definitive answer. I believe in it, others don't. Are either of us right? No. They're both just different ways to view the same thing.

it depends on what magic you're asking about...if you mean harry potter magic...probably not, but who is to say really. But if you mean like, potions, spells and the like involving botanicals, invocations, and those type of magics; alchemy and the like, then yes, they most certainly are real

Magic...No. However, there are those who think its real, and they have their own religion called Wicca. They believe in nature and that they can make potions and stuff. I think its fake, Ive never seen anything magical before, and I dont anyone who has.

Has to be! There is no way you can take separate solid metal rings, throw them up in the air and turn them into a chain. I even inspected the rings. No gaps, no trick hinges. Absolutely solid metal.

h**l YA!!! Studying it is not always the best idea. If it is not meant for you, and did not call to you, it is best to keep away from it. The call you will know when you get it. Certain things will happen to you, unbelievable things, or maybe just someone that talks to you about what is inside you. If you do have the call and want to practice it, please find someone to teach you. You can go to a person in a coven to teach you, or go to a magic shop and see if any of the spell books call to you.

My suggestion is just to work with the magic in you, meaning no spells or rituals. Use your magical abilities instead.

You have more control over your life then you think.  There is no need for magic for magic is what you can make happen by simply visualizing what you want.  Write down a career path or goal and all the positives about being in that situation.  Get pictures and glue them on a board so that you can visually see what you would like to manifest in your life.  For example if you want a nice car cut out the kind of car you would like to have and paste it on your board.  Over time you will see doors open up and goals will be met.  

I used this method to get a job in the location that I wanted,  a job I did not think I could get but none the less wanted to try to get anyway.  I did get the job and it is in a sweet location, but not all of my dreams are settled yet this was just one of many I am working on.

Harry Potter Magic is parlour tricks and Hollywood... Real magick is all around you, do you feel it, do you know how to harness it ???...No probably not, I am a Witch of 37 years, and find the reference to magick in here daily is proof that most people believe in it in one way or another..Magick is a manipulation of energy to bring about a desired result.. We work with the Elements and the Universe (which is Nature) to achieve our goal /s..Anybody who brings Satan or Devils into this are either delusional, uneducated, religious nuts, ignorant to the 4th power, serial idiots or just plain S**t stirrers... Magick has been with us since the dawn of time, men and their false Gods and religions forced it to become something that the Devil created... Except they created the Devil, in theory only.. I will back the power of Magick , true Magick against false religion any day of the week... The fact that more people are turning away from the Church, and finding themselves in the ancient, peaceful nature based religions is proof that the brainwashing of 2,000 years no longer works on the more Spiritually evolved people...The Churches of the world know this and will do anything to keep their position stable... Bye Bye Pope, and your minions and the rest of, whatever you call yourself, Priest, Padre, Minister, etc... We have had enough of you double standards and your lies..We are almost in the "Shift"... Then you will grasp some of the perception as to what magick really is...

Magic is really a question of semantics, and from the sound of your question I'm going to suggest that the kind of magic you are looking for does not exist.  You sound like the type that is looking for Harry Potter type magic as opposed to something like Wiccan magick.
