I would like to know about Chennai - the city today and its importance?

all metro cities in India are more or less similar.

except minor differences.

trust me if u can accomodate in delhi u sure can accomodate in bombay, and similarly if u can accomodate in bombay u definately can live in delhi.u'll face some differences though like in mumbai u dont have to fight with auto rickshaws causse they use meter but in delhi thats a daily crisis, similarly Delhi has nice, cool, comfortable metro and bombay has jam packed local trains.

so all in all i will say similar things and differences about banglore, calcutta and CHENNAI.

Life in India everyday is like an adventure, some call it struggle though but i prefer to feel its adventure!!

sorry if i did not answer what exactly u wanted to know,this is out of my experiences after living in all the metros, but if u really wanna know history and political status of CHENNAI, u should use wikipedia or google, isn't it
