I would like to know at what depth in a lake does the different colors disappear to fish

P.S. Lets say I'm trolling in a high sierra lake at 7,000 ft. and the water is pretty clear. Lets say you can see down to 15-20 feet. Doug

Colors disappear underwater in the following order:

Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet

The depth at which they disappear will vary according to water clarity, amount of light, amount of microscopic organisms in the water, etc.
