I would like to know how do you brand a food product and present the product to a super market?

I know how to make some really good sausages, I would like to brand them and present them to a supermarket store, like safeway, QFC etc, what is the first step?

you would need to go through their vendors/distributers.. you can't go striat to the grocery stores, except maby if you know the people that work in the butcher department and they make their own sausages, you might get them liking yours, but you can't sell direct.

best bet is to sell locally, at like farmer's markets... if a restaurant or grocery owner that shops there (many do for ideas) they might help you market it.

you won't be able to sell your sausage directly anyway, it would be a health-risk thing that they wouldn't want to deal with, your likely going to just need to sell the recipe.
