I would like to know how much time I should wait to get an answer for my application for the visa student?

I am a Guatemalan and I applied for the student visa for the UK, in the British Embassy in New York by post. I want to know how much time with the process take! Thanks in advance for your help!

this not yet enough time to process your application,

by all means the financial documents you have provided have to be checked thoroughly, bank statement,

your back ground has to be checked as well , school application, acceptation, you do realize that ? i hope, so it will give you more patience,

communication, between Guatemala and the UK may take a while,

do be patient,

the embassy will respect the delay for you entering school , and you will get your student visa on time;if all checks out well.

they need time to check all your credential as well, school records etc.
