I would like to know how to get mold out of fabric that is dry.

1 item velvet 1 cotton items are now dry. was in trunk that leaked.

Soak them in oxiclean

1/2 cup oxiclean powder dissolved in a bucket of warm water

Depending on how much mold...soak 2 hours to three nights. refreshing the oxiclean each night.

It won't damage colors or whites or fabrics. I even use it on my carpet stains.

you can try taking it to a dry cleaner.

you can try using hydrogen peroxide ALL over the fabric.

then putting ALL of it in the sun for a few hours.

Lemon juice is also a possibility.

it may be hopeless.

you could see a professional dry cleaner;or take a chance on an at

home trt: Lestoil soak fabric w and leave overnight then wash twice

w Woolite because the Lestoil stinks but is very effective on grease

hopes this helps/works

just don't dry in dryer or stains will set you may have to repeat process
