Question:

I would like to know if I can introduce more than one female betta in my aqaurium with the male???

It's A small aqaurium, one male-one little girl....would like two more females if thats possible.

  1. Absolutely not! You cannot put a male and female Betta in the same tank unless you are conducting a supervised breeding and know what you're doing.

    Male Bettas cannot live with other males or females.

    Female Bettas can live together in groups of 5 or more in at least a 10 gallon tank.

    If you put the male and female together outside of breeding, you will eventually end up with dead or injured fish. Don't do it.


  2. You Should not males and females together the male will kill her only females can live together in peace

  3. You only put a female with the male for a short period of time for spawning after conditioning them both.  The male will kill the female.
