I would like to know if i would like to fish prawn in a pond, what is the best bait to use?

I have never heard of prawns being caught by using bait and a rod...

Typically a net is used.

reach in under the banks with your fingers and you will find at the water level little holes (caves) they make to hide during the hot of day in. yeh they will grab you,  just endure it and pull them out. they pinch like a baby squeezes your finger. Although if they are old big ones? just kidding
