Ok don't listen to these people. The guy who says "if you can't shoot par or better every time you play, you're not good enough" !!!! That's just a terrible weekend golfer talking that watches too much Golf Central. We have been given a classic misconception about tour players in this country by the media. I work with tour players and they aren't ALWAYS scoring under par. A round under par is a big achievement. When a PGA tourney takes place - the only players that are shown on TV are the LEADERS! They are the only ones that get TV time. And they seem to always be waaay under par over 4 rounds. But in reality most of the players in the tourney are close to par or over par. And often, some of the best players in the world arent making the cut which could be 4 or 5 OVER PAR. That means that Half of the Field may be 4 or 5 OVER PAR OR WORSE! Go tell THEM they arent good enough, and see if they don't wrap a club around your head. The truth is, if you totally focus with all your being on your golf game - if you really want to play on the tour, you will. If you want to do something, you have to BELIEVE it and make it a reality. TOO many people, especially the people on these stupid blog sites think that you have to be blessed with a "god given talent" to play good golf, and that you either "have it" or you "don't have it" and if you "don't have it", you're s**t out of luck. The reality of life is, that you create what you want, and you can CHOOSE to "have it" - nobody gives it to you as a gift when you're born. You create it for yourself. Work hard, you'll make it. You are still young in terms of a golf career. Look at all the old fogies playing on the tour right now. s**t man, I'm 30 and everybody my age is in WAAAY better shape than Tom Watson!
