I would like to know if my wife needs a visa to visit Italy for a few days.?

I am a British citizen with a full UK Passport.

My wife holds a Mauritius passport with a RESIDENCE PERMIT.

Type of permit - settlement.

Remarks - Indefinite leave to remain in the UK.

I would be grateful if you can answer my question.

You do not require a Schengen visa; your wife does (visa requirements are based on the nationality/passport of the individual, not immigration status in another country).

A UK citizen might need a visa to travel to Italy.  To be sure, go to the website of the Italian Embassy in UK.

my answer  will be same  as   Curious 1      you are  OK  your wife  definitely need a visa  and has to fully meet the requirements   married to you  a  UK  citizen has no bearing
