like if there is any e-mail account that actually lets you tweak it to set so it will actually let me know if the e-mail i'm sending is actually being read by the person being e-mailed to?

  1. You could make an image in the email and when the image is viewed it will let you know... other then that no... unless your on AOL emailing another on AOL

  2. Well I use Outlook to send my emails, and you can request a read receipt and delivery receipt with it. Kind of like a Post Office, however you have to purchase Outlook, but I find it very convenient if you want to find out if someone is really reading the emails you send.

  3. can you sent a letter by post and find out if the person had open it or not ?

  4. Send messages you want to monitor through DidTheyReadIt. The Web site embeds a tiny image in each e-mail it sends. When the e-mail is opened, the recipient's e-mail client, in many cases, will automatically send a request for the embedded image; when that request is made, DidTheyRead then knows that the e-mail was indeed opened, when it was opened, and for how long it was open.

    Hope this helps!
