I would like to know what the difference is between degradable and bio-degradable ? period!!?

If you keep an iron block under the ground,after many years it will get rusted and will loose its properties. This happened due to oxidation.

But if you keep a piece of wood under the earth,bacteria will eat it and this will not be wood any ore..This action is a biological process.Earlier was a chemical process.
