Me too.  No one I know has actually gotten on.  Maybe it was all a scam to get everyone to like GW.

YOU alone is definitely going to stabilize the american economy. Check on IRS.GOV to find out when/if you are getting a stimulus check, if thats what you are referring to

What's rather interesting is that no one will get a check to stabilize the economy. You might bet a stimulus check, but that really won't stabilize anything. Whatever money anyone gets from such checks will be borrowed by the U.S. government. For your check date, talk to the IRS.

In case we haven't learned anything from our own personal experiences with credit cards, going into debt never makes you wealthy in and of itself.

Whatever you think of Bush, this failure actually is not his fault. He's just following a flawed economic theory that his advisors believe in.... Go figure

I know all about Keynes' theories on Economics, which is what Bush based his stimulus theory on. "LM IS" curves, present consumption, and the "shoe factory-bare feet argument" that led Keynes to think up his theory, don't explain how to get rid of the debt from a "stimulus." The hope and prayer is that the economy will revive itself as a result of the stimulus incurring debt and that revival will furnish money to pay off the debt and its interest. Basically, you're borrowing against future taxes.
