  1. Avoiding the typhoons should be the least of your worries about moving to PI.  Its hot all the time.  When that rain comes, your happy to have it.

  2. Cagayan De Oro is rarely hit by typhoons and unlike GenSan or Zamboanga its much safer  from AbuSayyaf or MiLf. Cdo have a nice gated communities or state located in the upper portions of Lumbia. The Malaybalay areas are good too since the weather is like cool baguio but a pretty small town to live in.

  3. The further South you go the lower the chances of typhoon problems.  This is because Coriolis Force decreases to 0 at the equator and cannot sustain a typhoon.

  4. If you are considering moving from US to the philippines., I could not assure you any place that rarely get hit by typhoons. You have to choose a place where even with typhoons, it will not be flooded. Try Bulacan, Baguio, Cebu or Davao.

  5. south cotabato and general santos city.

we pride ourselves as a  typhoon free area.

  6. well ive been there like in 2001 cause my dad is from there but i dont know about the typhoons but its always hot there =)

  7. there's no place that is always sunny. sorry

  8. Palawan does not get hit by as many typhoons as the rest of the country. And it is almost always sunny in the Philippines, except when the typhoons hit.

  9. General Santos City is in Mindinow.

You have a high probability of being kidnapped in Mindinow.

I'd rather be faced with the typhoons!

  10. zamboanga city rarely gets hit directly by a typhoon. but i doubt youd want to go there. although im my opinion zamboanga is as safe/as dangerous as any other city.
