I would like to know whether the AME license issued by India DGCA is ICAO TYPE I or TYPE II ?

ICAO Type I License : means a licence with a scope

covering overhaul, major modification, major repairs,

testing and issue of certificate of maintenance after

performance of the above tasks.

ICAO Type II License : means a licence with the scope

limited to minor maintenance, minor repairs, minor

modification, snag rectification and issue of flight release.
