I would like to know your thoughts on this? (Women and Men)

I have this friend of two years. He is currently in Iraq and we chat everyday. We have both been married and through divorces. We have been friends with one another through both of our divorces. We have talked about being room mates when he comes back to the states. I asked him if anyone sends him cigarettes because he has to smoke the nasty ones he gets over there. And he said no, he thought of asking his parents but they cost way to much where they live. So I offered to send him cigarettes and I am also go to send a few more things. I would like to take our relationship to the next level. What would you think if some one did that for you? Would that show you that they really care for you? Or am I just coming on too strong? Thanks for all answers

  1. No, i just think your being considerate. Remember he's over there for all of us, serving our country, i don't think he'd be getting any ideas from sending him a care package, go ahead a do it i think it's ok.

  2. It shows that you care of course, however do not expect him to read minds. Just tell him how you feel.

  3. Being honest and telling him how you feel is the best thing you can do.That way you will know for sure

  4. Not too strong, I don't think. Just being nice, and maybe showing a bit of affection. You should probably be honest with him though one day, tell him you have feelings for him. He likely has feelings for you too if you have both been close friends through hard times in your lives.
